ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 40W Bi-Color Portable LED Video Light
I recently integrated the ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 into my field kit to see if a light this small could actually replace my larger, heavier panels. After putting it through various portrait and product shoots, I found that the power-to-size ratio is truly impressive for a device of its class.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality feels remarkably sturdy for something weighing only 320g, and the DynaVort Cooling System is a stroke of engineering genius that keeps the unit stable during long sessions. It manages heat exceptionally well through its internal fans, ensuring consistent performance without flickering or overheating concerns.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the dual-wheel interface is intuitive, allowing me to dial in the exact brightness and color temperature I need on the fly. The PD fast charging support is a total game-changer, as I can top off the battery in minutes between locations, ensuring I never miss a shot due to a dead light.
This light is perfect for on-the-go photographers and videographers who demand high-end lighting performance in a travel-friendly package.

With a rating of 4.91/5, the FIVERAY M40 stands out as a top-tier choice for any modern creator's bag. At a price point of $199.00, it provides incredible versatility and reliability that far exceeds its compact footprint.
